Word of the Day – Sept. 4 – Moot

Adjective: Moot  (MOOT) Definition: Open to question, debatable, subject to discussion or disputed. Deprived of practical significance: made abstract or purely academic. Example sentence: Since the team would have lost anyway, it’s a moot point whether the umpire’s call was right or not.  

Yes, we need to have long-range goals.  But our focus must be on today. Don’t think about tomorrow. Today is enough trouble in and of itself.  You can work on tomorrow when it gets here.
