Calendar – Benefits/Fundraisers- Benefit for Chris Ring – May 7
Negaunee – A benefit for Chris Ring, a breast cancer survivor recently diagnosed with stage four acute myeloid leukemia, will be held on Saturday, May 7 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Negaunee Elks Cub.
A spaghetti dinner will be served until 6 p.m. with music from 6 to 9 p.m. There will also be an auction, a bake sale and a craft sale.
Tickets, available at the door, are $6 for adults and $3 for children.
Chris will be going to Mayo Clinic for 3 months for a stem cell transplant. Proceeds from the benefit will help with expenses.
