Adjective: Miscible (MISS-uh-bul)

Definition: Capable of being mixed: specifically, capable of mixing in any ratio without separation of two phases.

Sample sentence: Mr. Remington’s class demonstration showed that, to paraphrase an old saying, oil and water are indeed not miscible.
