Wake up at the same time every day. No matter what time you went to bed, get up at a consistent time in order to sync your body to your daily schedule. Do this on weekends, too.
Get a pre-breakfast boost with a green cocktail with a shot of chlorophyll and a probiotic. Chlorophyll oxygenates the blood and enhances vitality. Probiotics ease digestion by replenishing flora in your gut and enhance thyroid function, boosting your metabolism.
Let the sun shine in. Exposure to natural light is the best way to wake your brain up every morning. Get outside if possible.
Have a protein-heavy breakfast to keep your energy level stable. Grain-based breakfasts can disrupt blood-sugar levels, causing a mid-morning crash. Don’t forget to add in a little healthy fat, such as avocado. The fats help protect your mitochodria in your cells from damage. The healthier your mitochondria, the higher your energy level.
Get your caffeine fix in the morning, but by afternoon, switch to green tea for an energy boost because the caffeine might affect sleep at night. Also, try to get your cardio workout in before work, because exercising later in the day may also affect your sleep.
Plus, drink plenty of water throughout the day. It’s the cheapest antioxidant out there.
