On Wednesday, June 27, at 7 p.m. you can travel back in time on an historic slide show tour of Marquette in the early 1900’s at the Peter White Public Library.
A time when Model A’s took to the streets & “Dandelion Cottage” by Carroll Watson Rankin was first published.
Jack Deo of Superior View showcases photographs of Marquette in the early 1900’s and provides running commentary on little known aspects of local history. See the trolley car tracks running down the streets in the era when the first Model A’s were hitting the road and the County Courthouse and Peter White Public Library buildings were under construction.
There is no admission charge to attend the presentation which is part of the Reading by the Northern Lights adult summer reading program of the Peter White Public Library.
