Marquette  –  August 17, 2013  –  Silver Creek Neighborhood Block Party by Kevin Taylor

The Block Party began 5 years ago when Silver Creek Church had a dream of helping people from to community to get to know one another. The event quickly took on a Back-To-School them. Now, local business, services clubs and neighbors have joined Silver Creek Church in sponsoring the event.

This year we hope to give away 500 backpacks, school supplies and 5,000 pieces of children’s clothing to families who need them.

There will be food, carnival games, bounce houses and slides, pony rides, stage shows for the whole family, live music by 41 West playing Christian songs on a Wenger Stage and much, much more.
