U.P. POWER! Miners Head Downstate – Catch the Game LIVE Online at Sunny.fm & On-Air at 101.9 FM
Negaunee Miners vs. Boyne City Ramblers, November 8, 2013
Ishpeming – November 13, 2013 – Look out lower Michigan, the Yoopers are coming!
I’m always excited when one of our UP teams makes it below the bridge for playoff games. If you’ve never been to a playoff game, you should really try to make it to one — they’re a lot of fun!
So many members of our community come together to cheer on our teams and it’s really awesome to look out at the sea of Maize and Blue in the crowd and feel the excitement crackling in the air with every play.
Look how packed those stands are! UP POWER!
Even if you can’t make it downstate on the fan bus to cheer on the Miners, you can still root for them while you listen to the game LIVE on the radio at 101.9 FM or streaming online at Sunny.fm with your family and friends. Why not throw a Miners party this Saturday and show everyone just how strong your YOOPER PRIDE is? Check out UPBargains.com for some great money saving certificates on pizza, chicken and other food for your party!
Take pictures of your party and send them to us here at Great Lakes Radio so we can include them in one of our community galleries! LET’S GO MINERS!
A member of the Great Lakes Radio family since 2013, Nancy spends most days typing furiously in her office. When not hard at work writing and editing, if this Sriracha enthusiast isn't experimenting in her kitchen, she can usually be found with her nose in a book or in front of a computer keeping up with her favorite blogs, researching topics for future articles, and playing World of Warcraft... FOR THE HORDE! (BattleTag: GingrMadness#1559)
Nancy's days of chasing little ones around are over for now, but she looks forward to chasing grandkids around in the future (the DISTANT future). Until then, she's adjusting well to the quiet and spending as much time with her daughters as they can stand.
Always in search of a good red and a great read (or a great red and a mediocre read), Nancy welcomes your suggestions on either.
