12/13/13 Eben Junction, Michigan– The Negaunee Miner Boys Basketball team traveled to Eben Junction, Michigan tonight along with Carl Johnson the voice of the Negaunee Miners and Jesse Anderson to bring you an exciting game of basketball against the Superior Central Cougars on Sunny.FM.
The Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball team came on strong in the beginning of the first quarter against the Superior Central Cougars with a score of 9-0 within the first minutes of the game. Eric Lori was on fire with 4 three point shots to help the Negaunee Miners Boys increase their lead to 24-3 late in the first quarter. The Superior Central Cougars start to get in the game with a score of 26-7 in the last minute of the first quarter.
Going into the second quarter the Negaunee Miners remain on the offense and continue to control the ball and lead the basketball game 31-9 early in the second quarter.The Superior Central Cougars try to get back in the game during the middle of the second quarter gaining a few baskets to get their score into double digits. The Negaunee Miners Boys hold strong and end the 1st half of the basketball game with a score of 44-17.
Third quarter action proves to be exciting for the Negaunee Miners Boys Basketball team as they maintain the lead against the Superior Central Cougars 55-19 in Eben Junction, Michigan. The Superior Central Cougars struggled to get into the basketball game and the Negaunee Miner Boys Basketball team held them to a score of 58-28 to end the third quarter.
Going into the fourth quarter the Negaunee Miners Boys maintain a dramatic lead against the Superior Central Cougars with a score of 69-30. The Negaunee Miners Boys finish strong and defeat the Superior Central Boys Basketball team with a final score of 72-39!!
