The players were beaming with pride as they posed for the team photo. Marquette native and Royales forward Dallas McLaughlin said, “It’s awesome to play hard for a community has has truly embraced the team the way they have. To be able to hang a championship banner and hold an event like the NASCAR weekend to help raise money to give back to our community is a great feeling and the very least we can do for our fans.”

The Royales finish their inaugural season as Great Lakes Division Champions of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League and boast the best record in the entire league.
