Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – On 6-26-14, detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) arrested a 31 year old K.I. Sawyer man.  The suspect was arrested on two counts of “Felon in Possession of a Firearm” and one count of “Receiving and Concealing Stolen Property.”

After the arrest, UPSET detectives then executed a search warrant on a residence on Invader St. in Sawyer.  Additional evidence plus drugs were seized.  The suspect was lodged in the Marquette County Jail.  The case is being reviewed by the Marquette County Prosecutor and the US Attorney’s Office in Marquette.

UPSET was assisted with this investigation by the DEA and ATF.  UPSET was also assisted by the Michigan State Police Hometown Security Team along with MSP K9 troopers from Calumet & Gladstone.
