Northern Michigan University’s School of Business Recognizes Local U.P. Business Owner Valarie Andes

Marquette, MIJuly 14, 2014 – Northern Michigan University Alumni Valarie Andes was recognized as a local business owner by NMU’s School of Business.

Valarie and her husband, Thomas D. Andes, are the fourth-generation owners of Thomas Theatre Group and the duo behind opening the Marquette Cinemas on Commerce Drive in May.

“I’m honored to be recognized by my alma mater,” remarked Valarie. “We are thrilled to be in Marquette and to offer employment opportunity for NMU students.”
