Gwinn Fun Daze – The parade route was lined with families.

Gwinn, Michigan  –  July 26, 2014

Not even the looming dark clouds and threat of bad weather could keep people away from Gwinn today. The streets were lined with families for the parade and there was a great turnout at the car show.

I rode along through the parade this morning in the Sunny.FM van with my mom, who works at Great Lakes Radio. I enjoyed taking pictures of the children along the parade route. It was a lot of fun.

A lot of people stopped by the Great Lakes Radio table to register to win a half a hog and a bathroom makeover.

Even though it started raining hard right before we left, it looked like people had a good time. Here are some pictures I took today:

A member of the Great Lakes Radio family since 2013, Nancy spends a lot of time at the front desk helping customers and the sales team. When not hard at work writing and editing, if this Sriracha enthusiast isn't experimenting in her kitchen, she can usually be found with her nose in a book or in front of a computer keeping up with her favorite blogs, researching topics for future articles, and playing World of Warcraft... FOR THE HORDE! (BattleTag: GingrMadness#1559)

Nancy's days of chasing little ones around are over for now, but she looks forward to chasing grandkids around in the future (the DISTANT future). ***UPDATE! That first grandkid is on the way! Little Liam Michael is expected to make his appearance right around Thanksgiving!*** Until then, she'll be enjoying the quiet and counting down the days until she can spoil her new grandson rotten!

Always in search of a good red and a great read (or a great red and a mediocre read), Nancy welcomes your suggestions on either.
