Marquette, Michigan  –  February 20, 2015  –  The Dry Dock Bar & Grill, Midway Rentals, Gentz’s Homestead Golf Course, and Commercial Specialty Contractors teamed up to sponsor a Poker Run on Saturday, February 21 to benefit the MARESA (Marquette-Alger Regional Education Service Agency) Transition Program.

The MARESA Transition Program assists young adults with special needs in their changing roles from students to contributing community citizens. Dry Dock owner Vicky Hood discussed the Transition Program and the benefit Poker Run on The Sunny Morning Show earlier this week.

Registration for the Poker Run is from 8-11 am tomorrow morning at the Dry Dock Bar & Grill in Harvey and Sunny.FM will be broadcasting LIVE from 1-3 pm.

The Poker Run consists of a 90-mile fun ride for all ages that can be done by snowmobile or in your car. Stop at the appointed businesses, pick up your playing card, and head back to the Dry Dock with your poker hand to win!

Groups begin leaving the Dry Dock at 9 am. Participation is free and open to everyone and you don’t need to do the ride to help, you can still have fun at the Dry Dock all day long with food, door prizes, gifts and a silent auction.

Join Sunny.FM at the Dry Dock tomorrow and get in on the fun!
