Ishpeming, MI – November 2, 2016 – Now that October is over, I have about a week to get Halloween put away and get my house ready for November. This November is going to be really busy for my entire family. Not only is November the start of the Holiday Season, but my very first grandchild will be here this month!
Liam Michael is my first grandchild; he’s also my mom’s first great-grandchild; and, of course, my daughter’s first child! The whole family is excited for his arrival and we’re trying to get everything ready for his appearance by the end of the month.
We didn’t want Briana and her fiance to miss Thanksgiving Dinner with the family just in case little Liam decides to show up a few days early (like his mama did), so we’re celebrating on November 18th. Turkey is on the menu (even a vegetarian turkey for my favorite veggie-saurus niece) along with all the traditional fixin’s.
My daughter and her fiance gave me the news that I’d be a grandma earlier this spring – at Easter! I can’t believe the time has gone by so quickly and soon I will be rocking my new grandson to sleep and singing lullabies to him.
