Ojibwa Casinos Hosted Groundbreaking Ceremony in Baraga Today

Marquette, MI  –  December 7, 2016  – Ojibwa Casinos officially broke ground on their renovation and expansion project in Baraga today.

Ojibwa Casinos recently announced the approval of their $40 million plans to expand their casinos in both Baraga and Marquette.

The Baraga casino will receive a $6.5 million facelift including the expansion of the existing gaming facility and many other infrastructure upgrades. The completion date for the Baraga project is February of 2018.

Ojibwa Casinos plans to create an “Entertainment Mecca” with a newly constructed casino in Marquette. The Marquette project (a $33.5 million investment) will include a 3-star 80-room hotel, a 1,200 seat entertainment complex, 3 branded restaurants, a 400-seat state of the art conference facility, and an expanded gaming floor to accommodate 500 slot machines.
