Don’t miss the chance to see the Lake Superior Youth Theatre (LSYT) bring the classic story of Orphan Annie to life. Over 85 actors are hard at work putting together this show for mid-winter family fun.
Based on the popular Broadway musical, Annie Jr., tells the fun-filled adventure of a spunky, Depression-era orphan who is determined to find her parents.

Karen Ludwig will play Annie for the LSYT Performance

Nikke Nason, LSYT Artistic Director and Director of Annie Jr. is excited to bring this production to Kaufman Auditorium. “Each youth in the production brings life and energy to their character along with immense talent; it’s amazing to watch them onstage!” says Nason. Nason first directed the production in 2001, which began the youth theatre program in Marquette, and is honored to be directing the same production again ten years later.

Annie Jr. opens Friday, March 9 with an evening performance at 7:00 p.m. and continues on Saturday, March 10 with a matinee at 1:00 p.m. and evening performance at 7:00 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium, 611 N. Front Street, Marquette.

Tickets are $13 per adult/senior and $8 per child or student in advance (add $3 at the door); all seats are reserved. Tickets are on sale at all NMU EZ Ticket Outlets, online at www.nmu.edu/tickets or by calling (906) 227-1032.
