An Upper Peninsula Sunrise is Worth Rolling Out of Bed Extra Early
Negaunee – June 8 2011 – Negaunee Township sunrises are spectacular. It’s 6:30am and 73 outside with a heavy atmosphere. The skies seem just dull and thick with a blanket of grey, and this gorgeous image emerges.
As the sun climbed higher an orange trail shot out almost inviting me to walk that bridge to that bright orange ball.
Yesterday at 5:30am, I awoke and enjoyed balmy warm temps. Skies were heavy. Humidity was up. Then I saw the sun emerge and fill the sky with an awesome Orange hue.
I love the U.P.!
