Health Tip – Jan. 24 – Low Calorie, Non-Fat Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

You won’t believe this is low calorie once you have tasted the strawberry banana recipe for a refreshing day. Sometimes simple smoothies are the best smoothies and this is a very simple 2-fruit smoothie with yogurt for protein.

1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

1 banana

1 cup non-fat yogurt

1 packet Equal or other sugar substitute

1 cup ice

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until creamy, which doesn’t take very long. Enjoy!

Yield: One 20 0z. serving containing 291 calories and 0 grams of fat.
