L’anse, Michigan – Tracey Barrett talked this last Saturday on the 8th Day Radio show about the fifth year of the annual L’anse “Snowshoeing with Sasquatch.” During the interview, listens could even hear the U.P.’s genuine Sasquatch talk in the background, a very verbal Sasquatch.
Visitors hike or snowshoe at the L’Anse Township Park at 4:30 pm and enjoy hot cocoa and a bonfire. Cameras were welcome to capture a photo with sasquatch. Snowshoes, however, were not required, since the trails are well-kept and well-packed so even daily walking shoes would be fine for this adventure.
Admission was free, but donations of non- perishable food items were passed on to St. Vincent de Paul in L’Anse. Family fun! “Everyone invited: Believers, Skeptics, and Bigfoots.” Again: Free admission, Hot cocoa, a huge Bonfire, Snacks, 2 miles of excellent trails, Photos with Sasquatch, and somebody even won a pair of snowshoes!
