Time For Wisdom – Journey of Russ Murphy’s Life + Gospel Music

Marquette, MI  –  September 14, 2017  –  Last week was an endurance contest of waiting wasn’t it? Where will the hurricane hit? Where will “whack-a-mole” Irma raise her ugly head? If I was worn out waiting, while sitting far from it in the Upper Peninsula, I know the people in Florida must have been exhausted from all the waiting. Is it going to be a direct hit on Miami? “Well yes, maybe, no….” At first, “Go west young man!” Then, “No, go east!”

This week on Time for Wisdom, Pastor Jeff and Pastor Tony discuss the bad and good coming out of the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. Tragically eight lives were lost in a nursing home in Hollywood, Florida. Waiting for power to come back on is the hardest kind of waiting, especially if air conditioning means the difference between life and death for vulnerable persons like the elderly.

From scripture in 1 Thessalonians 1:10, the pastors will discuss what it means to “wait for His Son from heaven.” From the original language we learn that this is the best kind of waiting there is!

So remember to tune in to Time for Wisdom, every Sunday morning from 11am – Noon on Sunny FM, 101.9 or stream it live! Catch up with Time for Wisdom and listen to previous shows on the Time for Wisdom Show Page.
