The Miner machine has continued it’s dominance over the past week going 3-0 between the boys & girls teams. The boys won in thrilling fashion on Wednesday vs. Ishpeming on a game winning three-pointer by Eric Lori. On Thursday the girls team managed to keep the excitement level in Lakeview Gymnasium turned up to 10 with a 42-41 victory over Gwinn. After another boys win vs. L’Anse on Friday, Negaunee basketball pushed its combined win-streaks to eight overall.
Now that school is back in session, both team’s schedules will begin to get really full. The upcoming week follows as such:
Boys Basketball
- Thursday, January 16th @ Norway. Pregame begins at 7:30pm EST & tip-off is at 8.
Girls Basketball
- Tuesday, January 14th VS. L’Anse. Pregame begins at 7pm & tip-off is at 7:30.
- Friday, January 17th @ Westwood. Pregame begins at 7pm & tip-off is at 7:30.
