Join us for the Negaunee Miners Tailgate Party Friday, September 15, 2017

Marquette, MI  –  September 8, 2017  –  “Football Night in Negaunee” returns as your Negaunne Miners travel to face the Gladstone Braves. Currently 0-2 in the season, the Miners hope to collect a win tonight, ramping up excitement for next week’s Tailgate Party.

Tonight Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson will be bringing you all of the football action starting with a pre-game show around 6:30pm. Mark and Gregg will catch you up on the team’s progress so far and call the full game on Sunny .FM 101.9 with kick off at 7:00pm.

Next week, Friday, September 15th, Negaunee will play the Iron Mountain Mountaineers during the Miners’ Tailgate Party. Running from 5:00 to 6:30pm, come out and support the Miners at the Negaunee High School Football Field. There will be games for the kids, lots of free prizes, hot dogs and pop donated by Super One Foods. At half time, Fox Negaunee will be giving away a brand new Chevy Silverado. As usual, if you can’t make it, you can stream the full game broadcast called by Mark Evans and Gregg Nelson on Sunny.fm!

Lauren has been with GLR for a few years now and does all of the new graphic materials for the websites. She is also a professional photographer and covers most of Great Lakes Radio events

No matter what event, Lauren will probably be there putting her camera in people's faces! Make sure to smile!

Lauren shoots predominately with a Nikon D7000 equip with 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses, as well as a Tokina 11-16mm and an 8mm Rokinon Fisheye! Occasionally Lauren will shoot with a Canon Rebel T3i equip with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses.
