MI State AARP President Robert Kolt

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) - Robert Kolt, the State President of the American Association of Retired Persons, visited with members of the organization in Marquette today.

Prior to his meeting at the Peter White Public Library, Kolt stopped in to joined the SUNNY Morning Show to discuss the issues confronting seniors in both the state and on a national level.

Kolt explained that the primary reason for this visit to the area was to publicly discuss possible changes to Social Security and Medicare with those possibly affected by any changes.  He also said there are several other issues and challenges facing our aging population that he would discuss as well.
