Marquette City Manager Bill Vajda

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette City Manager Bill Vajda stopped by the SUNNY 101.9 studios this morning for his regular visit outlining the agenda of the upcoming meeting of the City Commission in Marquette, MI.

City Manager Vajda explained that there will be some important presentations at the front end of the session that will attempt to synopsize ballot proposals before voters in the City of Marquette.

There will also be some new business being discussed about the appraisal of the property owned by Marquette General Hospital for taxation.  There will also be discussions of the start of a firefighter cadet program in the city.

Finally, Vajda discussed a presentation that feature the findings of an archeological dig done on Mount Marquette by a groups of students at NMU headed up by Dr. Scott Demel.
