MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – November is Native American Heritage Month and the Center For Native American Studies at Northern Michigan University in Marquette is presenting a wide array of events and activities for the public to experience and enjoy.

NMU CNAS Director April Lindala stopped by The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike this morning to talk about some of the events and to encourage listeners to take part.

April mentioned several presentations and musical performances as well films being shown as well as a few key food-based events that are always popular, including the annual First Nations Food Taster.
