MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News)Northern Michigan University’s Forest Roberts Theatre is giving area young people the opportunity to experience the magic of live theater.

Ansley Valentine, the director of the current production of “Pinocchio”, joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about the production that is aimed at young audiences.

Valentine says the play follows the classic story of Pinocchio, an animated marionette, and his poor father, a woodcarver named Geppetto.

He added that the show has a lot of visual humor, slapstick comedy and special effects that are perfect for kids.
