Fourth Of July Parade Set For The City Of Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Fourth of July celebrations are abounding across the area and the City of Marquette is no exception.
In Marquette, the 4th of July Parade will be held at 2:00 p.m. beginning at the corner of McClellan Avenue and W. Washington Street.
The parade route will go along W. Washington Street to Third Street, ending at South Third Street and W. Baraga Avenue.
Pat Couvion, Chair of the Marquette 4th of July Parade Committee of the Marquette Noon Kiwanis, and Committee member Sue Johnson joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to discuss and preview the parade.
Other 4th of July activities include the Exchange Club International Food Fest, which will continue at Mattson Lower Harbor Park from noon to 10:30 p.m., and fireworks over Lower Harbor will start at dusk.
