Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Northern Michigan University Black Student Union is hosting a special dinner event this week for the community to come and enjoy.

BSU Co-Presidents Andre Stringer and Jeulani Gahiji joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the Soul Food Taster.

Stringer invited all to come out to the Jacobetti Complex this Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:30pm to conclude Black History Month with a taste of home.

Gahiji said the event will feature a wide variety of dishes from baked mac n’ cheese to fried chicken and collared greens all made from longstanding family recipes.

They invite all in the Marquette community to come and enjoy good food, fun music, and a chance to win great prizes.
