’80’s-era Bands Reuniting To Benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters In Marquette, MI

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The third incarnation of an annual reunion weekend of bands from the ’80’s that played around the Marquette area is happening this Friday and Saturday.
The 3rd Annual Scene & Reheard, a benefit for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Marquette, is happening at the My Place Lounge at the Holiday Inn in Marquette.
Musicians Rick Bissonnette, Scott Kirtley and Dean Moilanen joined Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Marquette & Alger Counties Executive Director Jayne Letts joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today talk about the weekend.
According to Letts and Bissonnette, the event will feature Beyond Ambition, Trout Revenge, Queen City Rockers and King Kenny Allday and Lazybody. An Open Mic night Hosted by Eddie and the Bluesers will be Friday and the bands will play on Saturday.
Kirtley and Moilanen discussed the adventure of getting together with old bandmates and assembling songs from somewhat clouded memories. They encouraged everyone to come to the shows this weekend and see what happens because there are bound to be surprises.
