Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow is criticizing a list the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers has sent Congress  of alternatives for shielding the Great Lakes from an Asian carp.

Stabenow says the plan includes construction projects in Chicago waterways that could cost more than $18 billion and take 25 years to complete.

Speaking with The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike this week, Stabenow said while the document presented a total of eight options, none are developed enough to implement immediately.
