Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Ann Brownell, with the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter, joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike recently to invite the community to participate in the second annual “Meow March” Virtual Cat Walk.
Brownell said the event is the feline solution to a mutt strut is a virtual march running from March 1st through the 31st to benefit homeless pets.
The virtual march is specifically for cats and their humans and provides the opportunity for cat-lovers to raise money for homeless pets from the comforts of their own homes.
Brownell says you can pick a virtual destination to march with your cat, collect pledges, and compete to march the furthest in order to win.
