Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly are hosting their first Easter Dinner in Marquette this Sunday.

Executive Director Cathy Aten called in to The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to let area listeners know about the dinner and how to take part.

Aten said the dinner is free of charge for anyone 60 and older and is at 2:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church at 305 W. Magnetic, and those interested in taking part must call in to Little Brothers to make a reservation!

The number to call is: (906) 482-6944.

Aten added that the dinner is made from scratch and prepared on site along with special desserts, fresh flowers on the tables, and left overs are packaged and sent home with our elderly friends.

Volunteers will come in at 10:00 that morning to prepare the meal, set up and decorate the dining room, greet our elderly friends, and then serve the meal as a sit down dinner where everyone eats together at 2:00pm as a family.

Aten said that Little Brothers is all about providing friendship and love to our elderly friends and adding the special touches that let them know they are cared for.
