Start The Cycle Benefit Concert Coming This Holiday Weekend In Marquette

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Start the Cycle 2nd Annual Memorial Day Rock & Roll Dance Party is coming up this Memorial Day Weekend in Marquette.

Laura MacDonald, Fundraiser and Marketer for Start The Cycle and Christina Bennett, Chronic Disease Leader at the YMCA of Marquette County joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about the concert and how the Y is working with the group.

MacDonald says the concert will benefit at-risk youth in our community through Start The Cycle.  The concert is being held at the Masonic
Hall in downtown Marquette from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26th.

The show will feature The Band of Brothers with Gary Parkkonen and Mark Hamari and delicious wet burritos, a great way to wrap-up the
holiday weekend relaxing with family and friends, and for a worthy cause.

Bennett talked about how the YMCA is working with Start The Cycle as the site for their activities and bicycle administering.

She explained that the groups working together helps both of them meet their goals of serving youth in the community.
