MI AG Schuette Talks Propane And Human Trafficking Investigations During U.P. Visit

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette is touring across Upper Michigan today and is speaking at several events around the region.
Schuette called in to The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike this morning to give listeners an update on his investigation into propane price gouging during this past difficult winter.
He explained that the investigation was launched following over 400 complaints of price increases as well as price switches and reports of other improper business practices by propane providers.
The Attorney General also discussed a session he is holding at Northern Michigan University during his tour focusing on the approach his office has taken to fight human trafficking in Michigan.
Schuette says he is addressing the fast-growing crime to not only shed light on it, but to provide anti-trafficking resources for the public.
