Marquette MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Jackson Mine Farmers and Crafters Market is open for it’s sixth season in Negaunee.

Market Coordinator Bill Brazier joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about the market, it’s schedule and how you can get involved.

Brazier said the market will be open on Wednesdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Miners Park at US 41 and Maas Street in Negaunee.

He added that the market runs through September 17th, 2014.

The market features goods from local producers and vendors and serves customers from Negaunee, Ishpeming, and around Marquette County.

The market accepts both the project fresh program and the snap bridge card to enable purchase of locally produced food items.
