Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A point-to-point 16 mile downhill race from Ishpeming to Marquette is happening on the Iron Ore Heritage Trail on June 4, 2016.
The annual Iron Range Roll is a chance for folks to ride, relay or run and proceeds will go to the YMCA of Marquette County’s Reach and Rise Mentoring Program.
Melissa DeMarse, Leader of the Reach and Rise Mentoring Program, and Victoria Leonhardt, President of 40 Below, the group organizing the race, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today for Y Wednesday.
DeMarse talked about the program and how it helps to develop young people in our area.
Leonhardt gave the details about the race and how you can get registered to take part, or to become a volunteer.
