Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – A reception recognizing those involved in the Mikwendaagozi Project is coming up tonight at the Oasis Gallery in downtown Marquette.

April Lindala, Director of the NMU Center for Native American Studies and Kristine Grainger, Artist Educator and Curator of the project joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike to talk about the reception and the project.

Grainger explained that the exhibition of the original painting for the Presque Isle sign and the student photography project, Mikwendaagozi – To Be Remembered runs through this month at the gallery.

Lindala invited all interested listeners tonight to the Oasis Gallery 130 W Washington St. Marquette, Michigan .
