Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association Holds Ride To Benefit Jacobetti Veteran’s Home

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is holding a motorcycle run this weekend across the central U.P. to benefit the veterans in the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans in Marquette.
A.J. Bower with Chapter 35-1 of the group joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt and Mike today to get area motorcyclists involved in the ride.
Bower said the group os made up of people from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles as a hobby, and their mission is to support and defend those who have defended our country and our freedoms.
The ride starts off with a registration this Saturday at 10:30am at the American Legion hall on Bluff Street in Marquette.
From there they head to the Jacobetti Home to meet with the vets and then hit the road for the ride.
Bower added that they will come back to the Legion Hall in Marquette around 4:30pm for a cookout and more that is open to the public.
