Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Silver Creek Church in Harvey is developing a new way of helping out the church family and the surrounding community.
Sliver Creek Church Pastor Kevin Taylor joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about a new thrift store they are getting going at the church in a few weeks.
Pastor Taylor said the Silver Creek Thrift is starting up on October 1st and is set up to help out folks who need a hand in getting basic items together on a budget.
He also said the store will give the church a small financial boost to assist with their mission to serve the community.
The store is currently accepting items for re-sale from folks in the area and you can contact the church to find out more.
