Fire Prevention Week Kicks Off With Static Display This Weekend In Marquette

    MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The annual Fire Prevention Week gets underway this Saturday with a static display of fire trucks from around the county and a parade in Marquette.

    Marquette City Firefighters Jeff Green and Ben Wilder joined The SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike this week to talk about the static display and the plans for next week.

    The duo outlined activities planned for the static display, which begins Saturday at 11 a.m at Harlow Park, including a lot of fire trucks, refreshments and more.

    Green and Wilder also explained this year’s Fire Prevention week runs through October 10 and features several activities within the community and local schools.
