Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An annual Marquette area 4th of July tradition kicks off Saturday in downtown Marquette.

The 31st Annual Marquette County Exchange Club International Food Fest is taking place at Mattson Lower Harbor Park.

Exchange Club Food Fest Coordinator Geno Angeli joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to share an update of all the things going on at this year’s event.

Angeli said the annual festival of food, drink and live entertainment runs from noon to 10:30pm Saturday through Monday, culminating with the 4th of July fireworks show over the Lower Harbor Ore Dock.

He added that the Exchange Club donates all proceeds to area nonprofit groups and has given over $850,000 back to the community over the fest’s 31 years.
