Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Marquette County Deputy Sheriff Lowell Larson is running for Marquette County Sheriff as a Democrat.
Larson joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to give an update on his campaign and talked about why he wants to do the job.
He shared a bit of his background and how he is planning to address a series of issues facing the Sheriff’s Office ranging from revenue shortfalls to coalitions between the Sheriff’s Office and the Marquette County Board.
Larson also encouraged everyone to get out and vote as the race for Sheriff will be decided on August 2nd.
All of the candidates currently running are Democrats and the election is set up as a primary which will decide the Democratic candidate for the office.
