Marquette Royales Look To Wrap Up Season Strong And Head Into Playoffs

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Royales Hockey Team is wrapping up the regular season with a 3-game home stand at Lakeview Arena in Marquette.

Head Coach Kevin Shupenia and Community Relations Director Bob Airaudi joined Sports Director Mike Plourde on the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike this week to preview the series.

Coach Shupenia said the team is looking forward to a good series against the St. Louis Frontenacs and encouraged folks to come out and support the Royales on their last regular season games on home ice.

Airaudi talked about the weekend and some of the extra events at the games including some that will benefit the Marquette County Pigs N’ Heat Fire Relief Fund and their annual fundraising hockey game.

Game times are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
