Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The Marquette Chamber of Commerce is holding a candidate forum later this week.
Executive Director Jason Schneider joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the forum and other projects the Chamber is working on.
Schneider said the forum will focus on the contested races including: Marquette City Commission, the Marquette Board of Light and Power, the Marquette County Commission seat in District 3 and the Marquette Township Treasurer.
The forum is open to the public and will be held in the Marquette Township Board Chambers at Marquette Township Hall this Thursday, October 20th at 7:00pm.
Schneider also talked about the latest activity with the “Be Local Buy Local” campaign they are coordinating featuring area businesses to get the buying public to support local business.
