Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Frank Livingston, guitarist for Led Zeppelin tribute band “Kashmir”, joined Great Lakes Radio’s Walt Lindala recently to talk about the band and their stage show.

The band will be headlining Harbor Fest 2017 this Saturday night at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette with a show that Livingston says will be like a trip back in time.

Livingston says the band strives to give the audience the most authentic recreation of a classic Led Zeppelin show from the ’70’s by using period-correct equipment and playing the classic songs as a four-piece, just as Zeppelin did.

He said a “Kashmir” show recreates the classic Zep live concert film, “The Song Remains The Same”, but also adds studio tracks from the band’s extensive catalog.

Livingston adds that “Kashmir” doesn’t try to modernize or update Led Zeppelin music, rather, they play it as it was originally done because the band feels you can’t improve on a classic!

“Kashmir” takes the stage on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.  The show is free and all are welcome.
