Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The annual food drive headed up by letter carriers is happening tomorrow.

Larry Kuhn, a Marquette letter carrier and local food coordinator with the National Association of Letter Carriers,  called the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about the 23rd annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive.

Kuhn said you can take part in the effort by leaving a non-perishable food donation in a bag by your mailbox tomorrow and you letter carrier will do the rest.

He said in Marquette alone, over 14,000 pounds of food was collected last year for distribution to local food pantries.

The donations went to Voices for Youth, Salvation Army, Harbor House, St. Vincent De Paul and Janzen House.
