Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – Upper Peninsula Home Health & Hospice is currently looking for folks who would be willing to join up to be hospice volunteers.

Katie Wilkins, Volunteer Coordinator with UPHH&H, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to talk about what hospice volunteers do and how to get involved.

Wilkins said one of the reasons why they are actively looking for volunteers is an increase in awareness of the services they provide that has come through events such their annual fundraiser, “Dancing With The Stars – Marquette County Style”.

The awareness has increased the agency’s amount of clients and they need the volunteers to help in the delivery of quality care.
