Marquette County Blueprint For Safety

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – An inter-agency collaboration to address domestic violence in Marquette County has been announced.

The program is called the Marquette County Blueprint for Safety and features criminal justice practitioners from 9-1-1 dispatch to probation officials in collaboration with local victim services.

Marquette County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Wiese and Heather Addison, program advocate, joined the SUNNY Morning Show with Walt & Mike today to discuss the program and it’s hoped outcomes.

They said the program looks at domestic violence and the criminal justice response through a lens focusing on victim safety and offender accountability.
