“Annie Jr.” returns to Marquette with the Lake Superior Youth Theatre.

MARQUETTE, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – The family musical production of “Annie Jr.” is coming back this weekend to Marquette thanks to the new Lake Superior the Lake Superior Youth Theatre.
The group is bringing the classic story of Orphan Annie to life with over 80 young actors . Show Director and Artistic Director for the LSYT, Nikke Nason, joined The SUNNY Morning Show today to discuss the show.
Nason says the production is based on the popular Broadway musical and tells the fun-filled adventure of a spunky, Depression-era orphan who is determined to find her parents.
Nason first directed the production in 2001, which began the youth theatre program in Marquette, and she says she is honored to be directing the same production again ten years later.
Annie Jr. opens Friday, March 9 with an evening performance at 7:00 p.m. and continues on Saturday, March 10 with a matinee at 1:00 p.m. and evening performance at 7:00 p.m. at Kaufman Auditorium, 611 N. Front Street, Marquette. Tickets can be purchased through our Shopping Show by clicking “HERE“.
