MSP Troopers Rasanen and Rigling

Marquette, MI – (Great Lakes Radio News) – If you have ever wondered about becoming a Michigan State Police Trooper, there is a special seminar coming up this week that’s just for you.

MSP Troopers Stacy Rasanen and Andy Rigling joined the Sunny Morning Show this week to talk about a recruiting seminar this Friday.

Trooper Rigling said the seminar begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Negaunee Post, and will cover what it means to be a Michigan State Police Trooper, the minimum requirements to become one, the hiring process, salary and benefits and more.

Trooper Rasanen talked about being a Trooper from a female perspective and why it has been an over 20-year career for her that has been very rewarding.
